Muscerol 2 is a dual-action prescription medication used to relieve acute, painful muscle spasms and associated musculoskeletal discomfort. It combines an analgesic (pain reliever) with a skeletal muscle relaxant to target both the pain and the underlying muscle tightness. Active Ingredients Each tablet of Muscerol 2 contains two active components: • Paracetamol (450 mg): An analgesic and antipyretic that reduces pain and lowers fever. • Orphenadrine Citrate (35 mg): A central nervous system muscle relaxant that helps alleviate muscle stiffness and spasms. Primary Uses Muscerol 2 is commonly prescribed as an aid to rest and physical therapy for several conditions: • Muscle spasms or stiffness following injuries or heavy exercise. • Acute back and neck pain. • Tension headaches caused by muscle spasms at the back of the head and neck. • Musculoskeletal disorders that restrict normal movement Standard Adult Dose: 1 to 2 tablets taken up to three times daily with a full glass of water. Age Limit: It is generally intended for adults and children aged 12 years and older. Do not give to younger children unless specifically directed by a physician. Safety Note: Never take this medication concurrently with other products containing paracetamol or orphenadrine to prevent an accidental overdose.
